Joan Osborne and Crash Test Dummies

Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 8pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

Two incredible artists, each performing their own set! Since she broke through over 25 years ago with the multi-platinum Relish and its touchstone mega-smash “One of Us,” Joan Osborne the seven-time Grammy nominee has never played it safe. Osborne has followed her restless musical heart, exploring a diverse range of genres: pop rock, soul, R&B, blues, roots rock, gospel, funk, and country – all of which can be heard on her latest album Trouble and Strife, along with the Western side of C&W and a touch of glam and disco. “For a lot of the record, we were going for a ‘70s AM radio vibe,” says Osborne. As for the lyrics, the songs “are the most political I’ve ever written,” she conveys of her first album of originals since 2014’s confessional Love and Hate. Osborne also produced Trouble and Strife, primarily recorded in her basement studio in Brooklyn and released on the label she founded in 1991, Womanly Hips.

In 2018, 25 years a/er the release of their mul8-Grammy nominated hit album “God Shuffled His Feet”, The Crash Test Dummies hit the road for the first 8me in 20 years with an Anniversary Tour that spanned North America. The overwhelming recep8on led to a 30th Anniversary Tour in 2022 for their debut release “The Ghosts That Haunt Me” that touched down in the US, UK, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Canada. And the band is showing no signs of slowing down . . .

“Touring again was not something we’d planned on, but surprisingly – at least to me – there are lots of people who many years later, s8ll want to come and hear us. The folks that are coming out to see these shows tell us their stories, some of them very funny, some very dark and all very personal. It’s very humbling, being in the confidence of so many people” says lead singer-songwriter Brad Roberts, “and it has inspired us to con8nue to tour and make music.”

The Jayhawks

Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 7pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

The Jayhawks and their rootsy sound were definitely swimming against the tide when they emerged from a crowded Minnesota music scene in 1985. Over the course of almost 4 decades, 11 albums, countless memorable live shows and enough personal drama to fill a couple of Behind the Music episodes, this beloved band soared to heights few ever achieve while winning the hearts and minds of numerous critics, fans and peers in the process.

After releasing two Indie albums in the 80s The Jayhawks signed with American Recordings in 1991 and over the next decade released 5 challenging, at times groundbreaking, albums, toured the world to widespread acclaim and even survived the departure of founding member Mark Olson in 1995. After a hiatus in the mid 2000s, the “classic” 1994 lineup reunited for another new studio album in 2011 and 2 years of solid touring, reacquainting audiences old and new with the band's timeless musical vision. 2014 saw a late 90s version of the band led by Gary Louris hitting the road to support the reissues of the 3 Jayhawks albums released from 1997-2003. This lineup released the band's 9th studio album in 2016, recorded in Portland, OR with producers Peter Buck and Tucker Martine. The band's next studio album, Back Roads And Abandoned Motels, was released in the summer of 2018, featuring Jayhawks versions of songs Gary Louris had previously written with other artists plus 2 new compositions. Recording for a new Jayhawks album was completed in Minnesota in late 2019 and in July 2020 the band released their 11th studio album, XOXO.

Rodrigo y Gabriela

Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 8:00pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

Grammy Award winning duo Rodrigo y Gabriela grew up on an eclectic mix of classic rock, heavymetal and flamenco, a rare alchemy of influences that still informs their work today. As they developed their distinct breed ofguitar music, Rodrigo y Gabriela quickly gained recognition for their extraordinary live show andmade their full-length debut with 2002’s re-Foc. Along with turning out 8 additional acclaimed andkaleidoscopic albums over the years: including Area 52 (a 2012 effort made with a Cuban orchestra),9 Dead Alive (a 2014 release that spotlighted their more rock-leaning sensibilities) and the 2020Grammy winning Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, Mettavolution, the duo has cemented theirstatus as a globally renowned live act.

Jazz Is Dead

Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 8pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

The legacy all-star instrumental ensemble, famous for interpretations of classic Grateful Dead songs with jazz influences, (re)assembled a killer line-up to immense critical and fan acclaim, and box office success in January. To celebrate its 25thAnniversary, original bassist Alphonso Johnson joined by Steve Kimock, Pete Lavezzoli & Bobby Lee Rodgers, performing songs from Grateful Dead’s ‘Wake of the Flood’, in addition to other beloved selections. Reuniting Steve Kimock & Alphonso Johnson, whom together in heavyweight post-Garcia Grateful Dead off-shoot The Other Ones, along with Bob Weir, commanded the instrumental prowess of that band that shines in Jazz Is Dead.Formed in 1998 by bassist Alphonso Johnson (Weather Report, Santana, Bobby & The Midnites, The Other Ones), drummer Billy Cobham (Miles Davis, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Bobby & The Midnites), keyboardist T Lavitz (Dixie Dregs) & guitarist Jimmy Herring (Aquarium Rescue Unit, Widespread Panic), with drummers Rod Morgenstern (Dixie Dregs) & Jeff Sipe (Leftover Salmon) replacing Cobham in 1999, and guitarist Jeff Pevar (CSN, David Crosby CPR, Phil Lesh & Friends) replacing Herring in 2000, recorded 3 acclaimed albums, the second of which ‘Laughing Water’ in 1999 was in fact an instrumental ‘Wake of the Flood’ reinterpretation -so there is precedent. That album also featured Derek Trucks, Donna Jean Godchaux & Vassar Clements.

Nick Lowe & Los Straightjackets

Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 8pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

Nick Lowe has made his mark as a producer (Elvis Costello-Graham Parker-Pretenders-The Damned), songwriter of at least three songs you know by heart, short-lived career as a pop star, and a lengthy term as a musicians’ musician. But in his current ‘second act’ as a silver-haired, tender-hearted but sharp-tongued singer-songwriter, he has no equal.

Starting with 1995′s ‘The Impossible Bird’ through to 2011′s ‘The Old Magic,’ Nick has turned out a fantastic string of albums, each one devised in his West London home, and recorded with a core of musicians who possess the same veteran savvy. Lowe brings wit and understated excellence to every performance, leading Ben Ratliff of the New York Times to describe his live show as “elegant and nearly devastating.”

Los Straitjackets are the leading practitioners of the lost art of the guitar instrumental. Using the music of the Ventures, The Shadows, and with Link Wray and Dick Dale as a jumping off point, the band has taken their unique, high energy brand of original rock & roll around the world. Clad in their trademark Lucha Libre Mexican wrestling masks, the “Jackets” have delivered their trademark guitar licks to 16 albums, thousands of concerts and dozens of films and TV shows.

The Bacon Brothers

Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 7pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

The Bacon Brothers have spent the better part of three decades exploring their own mix of folk, rock, soul, and country music. They call that diverse sound “forosoco,” and it’s taken them around the world, from headlining gigs in Japan to American performances at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry and Gruene Hall.

The exploration continues with the band’s twelfth release, Ballad Of The Brothers. It’s a record that highlights not only the similarities between Kevin Bacon (known worldwide as an A-list Hollywood actor) and Michael Bacon (celebrated as an Emmy-winning composer), but the differences, too. The two siblings may be bound together by blood and a mutual love of American roots music, but they’ve grown into sharp songwriters and cinematic storytellers with their own distinct approaches. Ballad Of The Brothers makes room for both of those approaches, offering a mix of edgy alt-rock (“Take Off This Tattoo”), Motown-inspired soul (“Put Your Hand Up”), fingerpicked folk (“Let That Be Enough”), and everything in between. The album also marks the continuation of a musical partnership that began long ago in Philadelphia, where the Bacons were raised on a soundtrack of 1970s singer/songwriters, Philly soul bands, and classic rock acts. Multiple decades and countless shows later, they’re creating their own soundtrack, saluting their old-school influences while making music that’s undeniably modern.

'Dirt On My Diamonds, Vol. 1,’ is a career highlight that has quickly captured the attention of blues enthusiasts and critics alike. Available now for purchase and on all digital platforms, the album is a sonic exploration that sees Shepherd venturing beyond the traditional confines of blues. This latest work features a compelling mix of tracks that delve into life's complexities, weaving tales of loss, love, and redemption against a backdrop of intricate guitar work and soul-stirring vocals.

Written at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, 'Dirt On My Diamonds, Vol. 1' represents a pivotal moment in Shepherd's career. The album blends modern urban influences with the traditional undercurrents of blues, a testament to Shepherd's creative evolution and his commitment to pushing the genre's boundaries. From the gritty title track "Dirt On My Diamonds" to the reflective "Sweet & Low" and the empowering "Best of Times," each song offers a fresh perspective on blues music, infused with Shepherd's signature sound.

Reflecting on the album, Shepherd has expressed that 'Dirt On My Diamonds, Vol. 1' is more than just a collection of songs; it's a narrative of personal growth and artistic exploration. "Every record I make is a moment in time, and this is a really special moment," says Shepherd. The album's creation was a collaborative effort, marked by days of non-stop writing with his favorite co-writers, where "nothing was off-limits." This approach allowed for a richly diverse album that, while exploring socio-political narratives, maintains the core essence of blues. Shepherd aimed to craft an album that uplifts rather than dwells in darkness, a goal that resonates throughout the tracks.

Five for Fighting

Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 7pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

The only way for a story to progress is to turn the page. John Ondrasik — the songwriter and performer known as the platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated, Five For Fighting — knows this well. In the two decades since his first major single, "Superman (It's Not Easy)," hit the stratosphere, the artist has both evolved and come back 'round full circle. Creativity, if nothing else, is paradoxical.

To date, Five For Fighting, has released six studio LPs, including the platinum certified America Town and The Battle for Everything; and the top-10 charting Two Lights, along with an EP and live albums.

Ondrasik has penned major hits, including the chart-topping "100 Years," "The Riddle," "Chances," "World," and "Easy Tonight," which have earned tens of millions of streams and place him as a top-10 Hot Adult Contemporary artist for the 2000s. The reflective "100 Years" has joined "Superman (It's Not Easy)" as part of the American Songbook and continues to stand the test of time at weddings, birthdays, graduations, memorials, and many a home video. Five For Fighting's music has also been featured in more than 350 films, television shows, and commercials, including the Oscar-winning The Blind Side, Hawaii Five-O, The Sopranos and the CBS drama, Code Black.

Referencing Fight For Fighting's success in the 2000s, AllMusic called Ondrasik "one of the decade's leading balladeers." But perhaps his biggest achievement is performing "Superman (It's Not Easy)," at the 2001 Concert for New York, a benefit show at Madison Square Garden that honored first responders and the fallen about a month after the tragic September 11th attacks. Ondrasik performed alongside other big-name artists like Paul McCartney, The Who, Elton John, Billy Joel, and dozens more.
Says Ondrasik, "It was a surreal experience. I was honored and blessed to pay tribute to the heroes who ran into those buildings at ground zero, and hopefully, through a song, provide a little solace to family members who'd lost loved ones.”

Now, though, what once was a dream is a reality. Buoyed by his unique falsetto voice and his prowess on the piano — a skill bestowed to him by his piano teacher mother — Ondrasik has made a solid reputation for himself in the world of songwriting and performance, selling upwards of three million albums over his career. Not only does he tour with his popular string quartet and play solo and rock band gigs, but he is also a high demand keynote speaker in which he combines themes of creativity and innovation with his business acumen. Along with his father, he has managed the family business throughout his musical career. As Ondrasik happily puts it, his company, Precision Wire Products, "makes the best shopping cart in the world!”

He's presented at TEDx, The Salk Institute, American Cancer Society, and dozens more. Perhaps being the son of an astrophysicist dad and having a degree in mathematics from UCLA has something to do with it.
"Math was the Plan-B to get a real job when the music thing imploded," says Ondrasik, with a chuckle.

But that doesn't mean he wasn't always a student at heart. As he wrote songs in his late teens and early 20s, the Los Angeles-born Ondrasik studied his favorite rock vocalists. Finding out that singers like Freddie Mercury and Steve Perry studied classical voice, he did too, even seeking out some of those icons' former teachers. No stone unturned.

Most recently, his song with the biggest sticking power is the powerful, "Blood on My Hands," a protest song that takes a non-political, moral stance against the 2021 United States chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.
While he's well-versed in politics, he isn't of a bickering mindset. For Ondrasik, it's about the conversation. "Blood on My Hands," the track, accompanying acoustic version, and docu-music video, "Blood on My Hands (White House Version)," has had millions of streams to date (despite little-to-no radio play). Like other protest songs of the past — "Ohio" by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young or "The Times They Are a-Changin'" by Bob Dylan — Ondrasik aimed to point out a problem. While it's critical of President Biden's administration, he says that if a Republican were President, the song would remain the same, only the names would change.

Thanks to the song, Ondrasik is now working with evacuation groups that strive to help the American citizens left behind in Afghanistan by the U.S. government, as well as the Afghan people who remain there largely under the threat of terrorism. It's a difficult, and at times a polarizing subject, but it's one Ondrasik is not shying away from. Not because of any politics or partisan pats on the back, but simply because he knows it's the right thing to do.

Ondrasik notes, "There has been a tradition of musicians speaking truth to power. In the current tribal culture, our freedom of expression has never been more critical.”

Throughout his multi-decade career, which began when music publisher Carla Berkowitz (now his wife of 25 years) discerned him in a dive bar, Ondrasik has been involved in multiple charity efforts. Along with supporting the troops via multiple USO tours, Ondrasik created "The CD For the Troops" project with song and comedy compilations featuring artists like Billy Joel, Melissa Ethridge, Chris Rock, and others, gifting more than one million CDs to veterans and military families. John has also been deeply involved with the ALS charity "Augie's Quest.”

While he may not be as obsessive as he once was — writing upwards of dozens of songs per month, Ondrasik is more focused today. He knows who he is, as an artist and as a human being. His is a career molded by light and darkness. At one point, he'd been looked over by every publishing house and label out there. At another, he had one of the biggest songs in the world. Those extremes give a person perspective.
"I've been incredibly blessed," he says. "I still pinch myself.”

As Five For Fighting, which is a professional hockey term designating a five-minute penalty for fisticuffs on the ice, Ondrasik has also developed a close relationship within the world of sports. He was a contributing writer for Sports Illustrated as well as for his beloved Los Angeles Kings. Five For Fighting was one of the first musical artists to perform on ESPN's SportsCenter, and has played The Daytona 500, Monday Night Football, The Heritage Classic, the L.A. Kings outdoor hockey game, and more.

"Singing from home plate at Dodger stadium," Ondrasik says, "where, as a five-year-old boy, my dad and I would catch bleacher bombs during batting practice — that was a dream."
Today, Ondrasik spends his time writing music, touring, working at the family business, and enjoying life with his wife, two children, and dog Ender.

Through "What Kind of World Do You Want," Ondrasik's charity driven website — WhatKindofWorldDoYouWant.com — he is currently raising funds for Afghan evacuation organizations, refugees and veteran mental wellness charities. The singer also launched his new episodic web docu-series titled "Meet the Heroes," which features Ondrasik interviewing heroic Americans who are involved in rescuing and evacuating American citizens, Afghan allies, and persons of high risk from Afghanistan.

What motivates him musically now? He wants to promote dialogue. He's set to speak his mind. In song, with the piano. Ondrasik doesn't shy away from nuance. He embraces it and seeks it — just as he does the next chorus, the next verse. It's what artists and freethinkers do, after all.
It's his gift to share.

His decided obligation, too.

Madison Cunningham & Juana Molina

Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 8pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

An incredible evening with two critically acclaimed singer/songwriters, each performing their own solo set.

Madison Cunninghamis a 26-year-old GRAMMY award-winning artist and songwriter known for her “wonderfully tangled imagery and cutting self-awareness” (NPR). As a guitarist, Madison has pushed the boundaries of a conventional singer-songwriter as her “guitar work is both classic and wildly emotive, and her soaring vocals are pristine and inspired” (Consequence).

Madison first picked up a guitar at age seven, and by age twelve was singing and performing alongside her five siblings in church. In her teenage years, she met Tyler Chester who would later go on to be a close collaborator and producer of several of Madison’s projects including Who Are You Now (2019) which Atwood Magazine described as “a guitar-driven record, full of twisting, meticulously arranged parts and interlocking melodies. It’s almost labyrinthine; you could get lost in her swirling words.” Cunningham’s latest effort, Revealer, won the GRAMMY for ‘Best Folk Album.’

A master of mysterious experimental pop, Juana Molina is recognized as one of the most original and visionary artists around. Her career trajectory has been a unique one, from her initial success as a massively popular comedic actress in her native Argentina, to the abandonment of her television career in 1996 and her decision to devote herself to forging her own, inimitable style of music, which gained her worldwide recognition as a critically-lauded recording and touring artist.

Marty Stuart & his Fabulous Superlatives

Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 8pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

Country Music Hall of Famer, five-time Grammy-winner, and AMA Lifetime Achievement honoree Marty Stuart picks up where he left off on Altitude, his first new album in five years, exploring a cosmic country landscape populated by dreamers and drifters, misfits and angels, honky-tonk heroes and lonesome lovers.

There’s a desert flare to the music here, a sweeping, spacious feel that conjures up wide-open horizons and endless stretches of two-lane highway, and the production is raw and cinematic to match, tipping its cap both to Bakersfield and Laurel Canyon as it balances jangle and twang in equal measure. While it would be easy for an artist as accomplished as Stuart to rest on his laurels, Altitude instead showcases the work of a searcher with an insatiable appetite for growth and reflection, one whose ambition, much like his keen wit and rich imagination, only seems to grow with each and every release.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, MS, Stuart got his start in bluegrass legend Lester Flatts’ band at the tender age of thirteen, and by twenty-one, he was working in the studio and on the road with Johnny Cash. Though Stuart built his early reputation backing up royalty, it wasn’t long before Nashville recognized him as a star in his own right, and over the course of forty-plus years as a solo artist, he would go on to release more than twenty major label albums, scoring platinum sales, hit singles, and just about every honor the industry could bestow along the way.

Shovels and Rope

Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 8pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

Shovels & Rope is the Charleston, South Carolina–based duo of Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent. They perform as an energetic two-piece band, stirring up a righteous racket with two old guitars, a handful of harmonicas, the occasional keyboard, and a junkyard drum kit harvested from an actual garbage heap and adorned with tambourines, flowers and kitchen rags.

But the songs are the deadliest arrows in this duo’s quiver. Since 2010, Shovels & Rope has been traveling the highways and back roads of North America, logging hundreds of shows and performing for crowds large and small. If you enjoy the tough new strain of Southern songwriting exemplified by Justin Townes Earle, Jason Isbell, the Felice Brothers, Hayes Carll, and Butch Walker, Shovels & Rope are not to be missed. The group’s latest album, “Manticore,” has a new sound born of pandemic-time studio experimentation.

The Moth

Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 8pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

An evening of storytelling from the producers of the popular Moth Podcast and Radio Hour. The Moth is true stories, told live and without notes. Since its founding, The Moth has presented more than fifteen thousand stories, told live and without notes, to standing-room-only crowds worldwide. The group celebrates the ability of stories to honor both the diversity and commonality of human experience, and to satisfy a vital human need for connection.

It seeks to present recognized storytellers among established and emerging writers, performers and artists and to encourage storytelling among communities whose stories often go unheard. The Moth began on a back porch in small-town Georgia, where our founder—poet and best-selling novelist George Dawes Green— would spend sultry summer evenings swapping spellbinding tales with a small circle of friends. There was a hole in the screen, which let in moths that were attracted to the light, and the group started calling themselves “The Moths.” When he moved to New York City, George wanted to recreate the feeling of those nights in his adopted city. The first New York Moth event was heldin George’s living room. But word spread fast, and the events soon moved to cafes and clubs throughout the city—and soon to popular venues throughout the country and beyond.

Joan Osborne

Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 8pm at Landmark on Main St

On her tenth studio album, the masterful Trouble and Strife, Joan Osborne has issued a clarion call. With stunning vocals, a diverse range of sonics, and incisive lyrics, this deeply engaging collection of new original songs is her response to “the crazy, chaotic times we’re living in,” she says, and “a recognition of the important role music has to play in this moment. Music has a unique ability to re-energize people and allow us to continue to hang on to that sense of joy of being alive.”

Since she broke through 25 years ago with the multi-platinum Relish and its touchstone mega-smash “One of Us,” the seven-time Grammy nominee has never played it safe. Osborne has followed her restless musical heart, exploring a diverse range of genres: pop rock, soul, R&B, blues, roots rock, gospel, funk, and country – all of which can be heard on Trouble and Strife, along with the Western side of C&W and a touch of glam and disco.

The Simon and Garfunkel Songbook

Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 8pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

This unique and entertaining music and multimedia event chronicles the extraordinary career of Simon & Garfunkel. The music speaks for itself, anchored by Rex Fowler, co-founder of the renowned folk/rock duo Aztec Two-Step, and his wife, Dodie Pettit, an original cast member of Broadway’s The Phantom of The Opera. The show’s storyline was originally created by Pete Fornatale, the late great pioneer of progressive FM radio and author of Simon & Garfunkel’s Bookends biography. Now telling the stories, emceeing and directing the engaging and amusing multimedia show is Fornatale’s dear friend and protégé, Tony Traguardo, WCWP-fm radio host, noted rock music historian, podcaster and founding board member of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. Nostalgia and laughter abound, and a sing a-long is always in the mix!

“It was a great night of stories and songs... outstanding performances with insightful, entertaining musings......Wonderful, wonderful!! The audience just loved every minute of it!” - Barbara Lavery, Director, Bendheim Performing Arts Center, Scarsdale NY

About Aztec Two-Step 2.0

The story of Aztec Two-Step is intertwined with the history of folk/rock music in America. Originating from a chance meeting at an “open mic night” in Boston in 1971, then taking their name from a poem by beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman went on to record four albums on Elektra & RCA Records, helping to usher the music of the 60’s into the 1970s and beyond. The duo performed worldwide, was critically acclaimed in major U.S. newspapers, reviewed in Rolling Stone Magazine, and appeared on numerous radio and TV shows including The King Biscuit Flower Hour, World Cafe Live and David Letterman, as well as winning the New York Music Award for Best Folk Album for their 1986 release Living in America. With a career built on progressive FM and college radio and non-stop touring over five decades, the duo appeared in concert with The Band, Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, Donovan, Judy Collins, Jackson Browne, Seals and Crofts, Carly Simon, Heart, Orleans, The Beach Boys and so many more.

After 47 years, Neal retired in 2018 and Rex has continued their musical legacy with his new expanded band Aztec Two-Step 2.0, alongside his wife Dodie Pettit - an accomplished singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and an original cast member of Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera as well as other Tony Award winning productions. Together they are the heart and soul of Aztec Two-Step 2.0. This new incarnation of Aztec Two-Step continues to impress audiences with dazzling musicianship, intelligent songwriting, and soaring harmonies. They have recaptured the multi-layered dimension of Rex & Neal’s original studio recordings, performing favorite ATS classics and old forgotten gems, as well as continuing on with their renowned Simon & Garfunkel Songbook show.

Friday, February 9, 2024 at 8pm at Tarrytown Music Hall

Experience the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young with this great double bill featuring Laurel Canyon, the finest CS&N tribute and Broken Arrow featuring frontman Joe Mass who is like watching Neil Young himself.

The first half of the show features Laurel Canyon, a 3-piece acoustic trio, performing CS&N to perfection followed by Broken Arrow playing a full band electric set of Neil Young’s greatest songs. One night, two bands, and all of your favorite Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young hits!

Laurel Canyon is an acoustic tribute to the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, featuring recreations of their seminal works as well as songs from their early bands and their solo years. The group consists of Grammy Award-winning writer/producer Mark Hudson, Hall of Fame Songwriter Gary Burr, and singer/songwriter Mark Mirando. These three talented, true fans of all things CSN&Y take you back to the days of the palm trees and sunshine of Laurel Canyon, California,…. where some of the greatest music in history was born.

Broken Arrow performs the music of Neil Young, featuring both the rockin’ electric Crazy Horse tunes and the more acoustic, pedal steel driven country rock material. The band delivers these classic songs faithfully while taking them out on some jamming excursions and tastefully tweaking some of the arrangements. Joe Mass nails the Neil vocals perfectly and the harmonies are spot on. Broken Arrow has audiences on their feet singing along and demanding encores at every show.

Blue Suede: The Premier ELVIS Birthday Bash

Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 8pm a Tarrytown Music Hall

Finally a show that shifts the focus away from the smoke and mirrors associated with Elvis tribute shows….back to what it is all about: The GREAT MUSIC. This show is packed with charismatic shake, rattle and roll that spans the early years of Elvis' career all the way through the Hollywood years.

Scot Bruce, who expertly portrays Elvis's early years, and Mike Albert, who delivers a truly untouchable 1970's Elvis, will take you well beyond the faux world of Elvis impersonators. From the time that the curtain rises and you see the stand-up bass and the rockabilly band to the close of the show as the American flag unfurls as the back-drop, you will feel a special sort of energy that you might not have originally associated with the Elvis scene. With its attention to detail and to authenticity, this is not a stereotyped parody of the musical icon. This is an experience that gives you the rare opportunity to bask in a much deeper appreciation of what truly crowned this man "the King”…
